MENDEL’S TORAH
A New Torah scroll was written in memory of our son Mendel. It is a great Mitzvah to have a part in the writing of a Torah. When a Torah is written in someone’s memory, it is a merit for their soul and for all of their friends and loved ones. Friends and family from all over the world participated by purchasing and/or writing letters into Mendel’s Torah.
The last pictures we have of Mendel are actually of him at a ceremony completing a Torah Scroll! He wrote a letter into the Torah with the scribe, and danced with the Torah….
What better way to celebrate his life, than with a new Torah!
