We seldom know how things look from Above….

On a recent flight, gazing out the window to the neighborhoods down below,  I noticed something striking.

The most unusually shaped dark shadow hung over one particular cluster of homes. It took me a moment to realize the shape was made by a cloud hovering in the sky.

What struck me though was how dark it looked under the clouded area and how sunny and bright just beyond the edges and all around.

‘The people under the cloud’ I thought to myself ‘have no idea how easily and quickly the cloud will move and they’ll have sunshine again, because to them all they see is the clouded area, but from up here I can see everything.’

How very clear, and how beautifully truthful is the view from above.
